Privacy Policy
Mitsukeru
Effective October 6, 2026 · Mitsukeru v2.10.1
Mitsukeru does not sell your data, and there are no analytics, trackers, or telemetry of any kind. Everything the extension does stays on your own device. The single exception is verifying a Pro license key, which happens only if you buy Pro and only when you click Activate.
What is collected
By default, nothing leaves your device — the extension writes your preferences, your recent colors, and any palettes or fonts you explicitly save to Chrome’s own extension storage, and nothing more. The only way anything leaves your browser is the license check described next.
Licensing and payment
Mitsukeru Pro is a one-time purchase, sold and processed entirely by Lemon Squeezy — the extension never sees or stores a card number, and Kiso Studios keeps no customer database of its own. When you activate Pro, the extension sends the license key you paste directly to Lemon Squeezy’s own licensing service, which confirms it’s real and returns yes or no. Roughly every two days, the same check runs again automatically in the background to confirm the license is still valid; a network hiccup during that check never revokes Pro — only an explicit rejection from Lemon Squeezy does. Your key and an unlocked flag are kept locally, on your device. If you never buy Pro, none of this ever runs, and no network request is made by the extension.
Page content
Mitsukeru has no code running on any page until you click its icon. Opening the popup loads its tools into that one tab, for that one session; nothing is injected into tabs you haven’t opened it on, and nothing runs in the background. When you activate a tool, it reads information from the page you are viewing (computed CSS values, element dimensions, colors, and markup for the element you click). This happens locally, in the moment, to render the result on your screen. It is not logged, not stored, and not sent anywhere. When you close the tab or navigate away, it is gone.
Nothing syncs
Saved palettes live in chrome.storage.local — on this device only. Nothing is replicated to a Google account, a Mitsukeru account (there isn’t one), or any server. To move a palette to another machine or a teammate, you export a share code and paste it yourself; that text never touches a server either.
Downloads
Asset Harvester and Element Screenshot write files directly to your Downloads folder using Chrome’s download API. Files are fetched from the site you are on or generated on your device. Nothing passes through Kiso Studios’ servers, because Kiso Studios does not operate any for this extension.
Permissions
Mitsukeru requests storage, downloads, activeTab, scripting, and alarms, plus host access limited to Lemon Squeezy’s API domain for license checks. It does not request “read and change all your data on all websites” — each tool session is scoped to the single tab you were on when you clicked the icon, injected fresh each time and gone when the tab closes. A full breakdown of what each permission is for is in the extension’s own Settings → Your Data panel.
Children
Mitsukeru is a developer tool and is not directed at children under 13.
