This policy covers kisostudios.com itself, which is operated by Kiso Studios LLC, a Kansas limited liability company. Kiso Studios’ individual products (like Mitsukeru and NipponNavi) have their own, more specific privacy policies — linked below.
What this site collects
kisostudios.com uses two analytics tools — one cookieless, one that does use cookies. Details on each are below. Beyond that, we do not collect personal information through the site itself.
If you email us (for example at hello@kisostudios.com), we use whatever you share only to respond to you. We don’t add you to a mailing list or share your email with anyone else.
Vercel Analytics
This site uses Vercel Analytics to see which pages get visited. It doesn’t use cookies — visitors are identified by a hash generated from the request, not a persistent identifier, and that hash is discarded after 24 hours. It collects aggregate information like page URL, referrer, approximate location (country/region level, not precise), and browser/device type. It does not build a profile of individual visitors, and it doesn’t track you across other sites.
Google Analytics
This site also uses Google Analytics (GA4) for more detailed traffic reporting. Unlike Vercel Analytics, it does use cookies — specifically _ga and _ga_<container-id>, both first-party cookies with a two-year default lifespan, used to distinguish visitors and track session activity. This data is sent to and processed by Google as a separate data controller, under Google’s own privacy policy. You can opt out using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on, or by blocking cookies from googletagmanager.com in your browser.
Hosting logs
Like virtually every website, this site’s hosting provider (Vercel) automatically logs basic technical request information — things like IP address, browser type, and request timestamps — for operational and security purposes. This is standard infrastructure logging, separate from the analytics above, and it is not used to identify or profile individual visitors.

This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.
